Sheriff Sales are held on Thursdays (excluding holidays) starting at 10:00 am in the lobby of the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department, 32 E Spruce St, Chippewa Falls. The Sheriff or Sheriff's Deputy holds the sales being a fair and impartial party.

Buyer's Information for Day of the Sale:
1. The winning bidder must be prepared to pay a 10% down payment in the form of certified funds is required at the time of the sale of the foreclosed property. The down payment must be paid to the Chippewa County Clerk of Courts in the form of cash or certified bank check. Personal checks can not and will not be accepted.
2. **NEW EFFECTIVE 10/1/18** - An "Eligible Thrid-Party Bidder Affidavit" will need to be completed and filed with the Chippewa County Clerk of Courts Office by any winner bidder.
All foreclosure properties are sold as-is and will be sold in the form of an auction, the highest bidder is awarded the property. It is the responsibility of the bidder to check for back taxes, liens, judgements, etc that may be outstanding and attached to the property.
