The health department is the local authority for the state to enforce applicable codes for the inspection and license of restaurants, hotels, bed and breakfast establishments, public swimming pools including water park attractions, campgrounds, and tattoo and body piercing establishments in Chippewa County. The goal of the program is to promote public health by reducing exposure to food-borne, water-borne or recreational hazards in the community.
