Conservatorship

Conservatorship is a Court proceeding initiated by someone who wishes to have the Court appoint someone who will assist with their finances.  This is usually a friend or relative of the person.  The appointed person (Conservator) must complete annual accountings and file them with the Court.  You may come to the office to purchase a forms packet for a fee or click on Conservatorship  for a guideline.

To obtain the forms go to:  wicourts.gov/forms1/circuit and then click on Conservator.

Click on Conservator Powers for more information on a Conservator’s duties and responsibilities.
