The mission of the Chippewa County Department of Land Conservation & Forest Management is to encourage “stewardship for sustainability”.
We provide the services that allow Chippewa County and its landowners, residents, and cooperating municipalities to use, conserve, and manage land and related natural resources in order to support a productive economy and a high quality environment.
We provide the services that allow people to make the conservation choices that benefit us all.
