County Parks
Welcome to the Chippewa County Park System! Our parks provide a relaxing camping experience, combined with opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, picnicking and other recreational activities. All four parks are located on popular lakes in Chippewa County, and all have boat launches and swimming beaches. If you are planning a family get-together, you may want to reserve a picnic shelter or campsite for family and friends. Whatever the reason, the Chippewa County Park System is sure to provide an enjoyable outing for the whole family.
Pine Point County Park's 48 camping sites are located on a peninsula projecting into 3900-acre Lake Holcombe. Many campsites offer scenic vistas of the lake. With plenty of trees, a nice swimming beach and good fishing, Pine Point is a popular vacation spot! The park is located 2.5 miles west of the Junction of County Highway M and State Highway 27.
A rustic campsite awaits you at Otter Lake County Park. This wooded park, with its 22 campsites, is situated on Otter Lake--one of the finest fishing lakes in Chippewa County! Walleye, bass, and pan fish abound! A fine swimming beach, picnic area and boat launch, along with a very scenic setting, make Otter Lake one of our more beautiful parks. Take County Highway H, 7.5 miles north of Stanley to 165th Avenue, and then 2.0 miles west to the park.
Morris Erickson County Park is located on the shores of crystal clear Long Lake and offers 28 camping sites. Long Lake is popular as a swimming, boating, and fishing lake, with excellent walleye and musky fishing! The park's well-manicured sites and open setting offer a nice view of Long Lake. Long Lake is nine miles northeast of New Auburn on State Highway 40.
For swimming fun, or a picturesque setting for an afternoon family picnic, Round Lake County Park is the place to go! This day-use park has one of the finest natural beaches in the County and is one of our newest parks. It is located on 216-acre Round Lake, in northwestern Chippewa County's Township of Sampson, on 117th Street. Drinking water is available, as well as, restroom facilities and changing areas. You will also find a reservable picnic shelter and a boat launch. For the fisherman, Round Lake offers a good opportunity for walleye, musky, and pan fish!
