There are two programs that provide support and services to children with special needs.

  • Children’s Long Term Support (CLTS) Waiver is a Medical Assistance program  for children with developmental, physical, and mental disabilities. The children’s waivers are for children ages birth to 21 years.  To learn more about the Children’s Long Term Support Waiver, view brochure CLTS Brochure [PDF] or visit the State of Wisconsin website.
  • The Family Support Program provides individual services and supports to families that include child up to 21 years of age with developmental, physical, and/or mental disabilities. To learn more about the Family Support Program, visit the  State of Wisconsin website.

We partner with the Western Regional Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs, part of the Chippewa County Department of Public Health.  Together we are the entry point for answering questions, providing information, resources and outside referrals.  For assistance please contact us at 715-726-7907, or visit Western Regional Center Website.
