Governor Walker and the Wisconsin Legislature have approved a $100 rebate for sales and tax paid on purchases made for raising a dependent child in 2017. Dependents must be under 18 years old as of December 31, 2017. It is a simple online process:

Chippewa County partners, board members, community organizations are invited to this annual event to achieve a better understanding of the human services provided to the consumer.   • New Entity Specializes in Receiving Child Abuse and Neglect Reports

    The Department of Human Services in Chippewa, Monroe, Pepin, & Taylor have come together to create a partnership to receive reports of child abuse & neglect. The centralized receipt of child protection reports will be collected by a new entity, The Child Abuse & Neglect (CAN) Reporting Partnership.
